AREA OF OPERATIONS

The majority of the terrain in the area of operations is among the most rugged to be found in the Republic of Vietnam. It is characterized by the steep mountains and ravines with double or triple canopy in the northwestern portion to the relatively level and sparsely vegetated terrain adjacent Pleiku and Ban Me Thuot.
